So, the house smelled like Snickerdoodle cookies, and since I make so many things featuring those same flavors the kids thought it was muffins, cupcakes, cookies, a cake… when I said it was banana bread they kind of looked upset. My daughter said, “It smelled like snickerdoodles.”
I decided to keep my mouth shut. When I pulled the loaves out and she saw them she said, “Mom! Why didn’t you tell me?” It was a good time seeing her go from “meh” to “wow!” I thought we’d have plenty of leftovers but both loaves were gone by the end of the day. I am pretty sure someone, (me) ate the crusty top off of one of them.
