Check out what my friends at Food.com had to say about these Buckeye Brownies:
These really cure a sweet tooth! I made them to take to my parent’s house for Father’s Day and as stuffed as we all were, we ate them. Very, very good!! I followed the directions exactly and the came out perfect. Thanks so much for posting.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! These were so good! I used a mixture of milk chocolate and semi-sweet chips and it was delicious!
Ingredients
19 1⁄2 ounces brownie mix
1⁄2 cup water (refer to your brownie package)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (refer to your brownie package)
1 Eggland’s Best egg (refer to your brownie package)
2 cups Domino powdered sugar
1⁄2 cup Land O Lakes butter, softened
6 tablespoons Land O Lakes butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) jar Jif creamy peanut butter
1 (6 ounce) package Hershey semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Follow the package directions to prepare and bake brownie mix in a greased 13″x9″ baking pan. Let cool.
Combine powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and peanut butter. Mix well and spread over cooled brownies. Chill for one hour.
Melt together chocolate chips and remaining butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until melted. Spread over brownies. Let cool; cut into squares.
Quick Tip: For a group cut these small, they are VERY rich – but oh so yummy!
