Chili Mac is a favorite around my house, and though I’ve made it several ways I had to try when I saw how creamy this looked. I am pretty sure the perfect consistency is achieved due to slow cooking, and I wish I’d thought of it before! This is such a simple way to make a tasty dish on those busy weeknights, when you just don’t have the time to slave away in the kitchen.
Of course, it’s never too late to try a new version and this is the one! I won’t go back to any other because everything about it was just right. It’s like Goldilocks finding the perfect porridge, this is my choice chili mac and there were no complaints from the other bears, either.

Quick Tip: spray the inside of the crock with Pam cooking spray so it won’t stick to the sides and will be easier to clean up.
