Every now and then I just have to please my husband with a big hunk o’ meat and some roasted potatoes. This brisket is by far his favorite, and with the right cooking time in the crock it turns out great if not better than restaurant quality. This recipe couldn’t be more simple cooked right in the crock with minimal effort. I guess that’s why it instantly became one of my favorites.
Trust me when I say he ate a LOT of this meat, but it turned out so tender and flavorful so I don’t blame him. It was a sit back and unbutton your pants after stuffing your face meal. My wee little daughter who is just starting to enjoy steak loved it too, and I am surprised she had two slices. Where does it all go in that tiny body?
