What can be better than fresh strawberries mingling among clouds of fluffy whipped cream? This is the ultimate summertime treat that everyone is going to want to just dive into. I prefer light and fluffy treats over heavy ones so I had to whip this one up A.S.A.P. Plus, my family can eat an entire carton of strawberries in 2.2 seconds it seems, so I knew it’d be a hit.
While I didn’t make my own strawberry preserves, I appreciated that the recipe is on there. Maybe someday when I feel brave I’ll try it out. I just know once I make it myself nothing else will compare. I’ve saved this recipe not only because the cake was heavenly, but because I will make that preserves, mark my words!
