4 Simple Steps Will Have This Italian Classic on Your Table and Being Drooled Over – No Lie!

This was absolutely amazing. I’ve made classic Chicken Parmesan many times and it takes time to dip in flour, egg, bread and then brown. With this recipe it’s all in one, less mess and less fuss! Everyone loved it in my house so it’s a keeper.

 

I’ll add to this by saying everyone and my dog loved this. I didn’t serve her up a plate but my daughter dropped hers and she got to have the best dinner of her life as a result. Thankfully there was enough for all to have seconds anyways, so we were set.

 

 

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 ¾ cups marinara sauce

3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)

6 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated garlic breadsticks

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

 

Instructions:

Heat oven to 375°F. In 12×8-inch glass baking dish, arrange chicken. Pour marinara sauce evenly on top. Sprinkle with basil and mozzarella cheese.

In small bowl, stir together melted butter and Italian seasoning.

Separate dough into 8 breadsticks. Dip each one into melted butter mixture. Cut each breadstick into 1-inch pieces; scatter pieces over mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan over dough.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut and cheese melted and bubbly.
