These Raspberries Won’t Tickle Your Tummy and Make You Giggle, Instead You’ll Say Mmmm!

Raspberries are nature’s candy, so sweet and great to just sit and snack on during the summer months when they’ve reached their peak flavor. When they aren’t in season, I snack on a bag of frozen raspberries and they melt in my mouth. So it’s safe to say when I saw this recipe for Raspberry Poke Cake I was tickled.

 

Poke cakes are just awesome because those tiny holes you poke pack a lot of flavor when the raspberry or other filling is drizzled over them. I prefer them better than cakes that are topped because you don’t have to struggle to try and get the icing and some cake in each bite. Every mouthful is a burst of flavor. This is my go-to recipe when I want to make something extra delicious!
