This Crunchy And Creamy Casserole Has It All

I’ve seen recipes where poppy seeds were used, such as in muffins or cookies.  To be honest, I never had seen a recipe where you could use poppy seeds as a savory ingredient… until now.  I had no idea!  I’m so glad I found this recipe, though, and I’m so glad it has poppy seeds!

It’s definitely an interesting conversation starter with dinner guests! I’ve always enjoyed the poppy seed.  The name alone is playful and fun, while the flavor is very mild, yet unique.

The poppy seed has typically been used in sweet dishes, from pastries to various breads.  This recipe takes the poppy seed to a whole new level and invites you to explore its use in a casserole you’ll never forget.

This recipe was super creamy, given the Campbell’s soups, but had a delicious crunch, given the poppy seeds.  It is visually stunning from the small black seeds, inviting you to enjoy the depths of its flavors.
