Refresh Your Taste Buds with This Summery and Fresh Treat

Since I’m a stickler for label reading and educating my kids at the same time we shopped for these ingredients together and I had them check to be sure all the ingredients were indeed gluten-free. I also explained to them why avoiding gluten has health benefits. I really love making easy recipes with these guys! It’s a fun, bonding experience that both my mom and grandmother did with me.

 

Truly, I’d much rather both they and I eat healthy sweets like this as opposed to cookies and cupcakes all the time. Plus, during the summer it’s a quick thing they can grab for breakfast so I can sleep in a little bit. There’s no shame in having a relaxing and healthy summer.

 

 

Ingredients

1 can (11 oz) Dole mandarin orange segments, drained

1 can (8 oz) Dole pineapple chunks in juice, drained

2 Chiquita bananas, halved lengthwise, cut into 1-inch chunks

1/4 cup halved maraschino cherries, drained

1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original yogurt lemon burst

 

 

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. If you’re making this ahead, refrigerate until serving.

Quick Tip: Mix all the fruit together and place it in the refrigerator; fold in the yogurt shortly before serving.
