Let this dessert be the blue for your red, white and blue festivities on July 4th, or make it just because. After all, that’s what the country folk do that makes it so special. Blueberry crisp fresh from the oven is simply to die for, and since finding this recipe I’ve made it numerous times to the delight of my hubby and munchkins.
Once it’s cooled in the fridge, it’s perfect topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Either way you eat it, it’s tart and sweet combination will have you gunning for seconds. It will be the star at any picnic so expect to take home an empty dish. I made sure to print up some copies of the recipe last family get together because everyone keeps asking me how to make it.
