Your Mother Never Made Cream Corn Like This!

I Could Eat The Whole Thing In One Go (It May Or May Not Have Happened)

I don’t know why, but my mom used to cream just about every vegetable that we ever ate. I think it was because she didn’t really like the taste of veggies. Myself, I love them. Unfortunately, I think my kids got the same trait as their Grandma. I have to fight them to even try any sort of vegetable nearly every day. It’s so extremely frustrating to sit and argue with your children at the dinner table after working all day and then coming home to prepare a meal. I had to do something.

My mom’s idea of creaming came back to me suddenly one day when I was making corn as our vegetable of the evening. I wasn’t really sure what I had to do to cream corn, so I looked it up on the good ol’ internet.

That’s where I found this recipe was on All Recipes. It sounded just like Mom’s. It was super easy to make, and guess what? The kids actually ate their veggies! No arguing required.
