Satisfy Your Taste Buds With A Mississippi Roast!

One thing that I remember about my childhood was waking up on a Sunday morning to the smell of a roast already cooking in the oven. I used to love this! And not only love this smell, but count on it in a way. If I didn’t wake up and smell a roast cooking in the oven then that meant we would be doing something else that day! Typically we went to church and came home and had a meal together.

Our Sunday after church meals were always really nice. We would all sit together at the table as a family and have a good time. My parents were definitely characters! They were actually pretty entertaining and would always make our meal conversations really fun. It was a nice time for us to get together as a family and create memories that I know create with my own children.

My mother would make wonderful pot roasts. My favorite recipe of hers is this delicious Mississippi roast. She made it one day out of the blue. She said that she saw it on a cooking show and that she wanted to give it a try. We all tried the yummy roast and absolutely loved it. We requested this delicious pot roast more than once that is for sure! Give it a try!
