How To Make Super Simple Homemade Chicken Nuggets

My kids had done really well on their last report cards, so we decided we were going to do a special night for them at home. We considered taking them out, but we really didn’t have the funds at the time to do that. So, a game and movie night is what we came up with. Of course, we had to serve up all of their favorite foods. Their number one choice is chicken nuggets just about nine out of ten times. I considered buying a bag of frozen ones from the store, but those can be pretty pricey too.

I had then remembered a recipe that I had seen on The Pioneer Woman for homemade chicken nuggets. The best part, was that I had everything that I needed to make them already in my kitchen. I asked the kids what they thought, and they were pretty excited about it.

They were so happy about their special night, they even came into the kitchen to see if I needed any help. That NEVER happens! These were very tasty served up with a variety of dipping sauces. Between the four of us, we cleaned them right up.

Quick Tip: Make sure you cut the chicken small enough so it cooks before the breading gets too dark.
