It’s A Strange Combination… But It Tastes Wonderful!

When I first moved out on my own, life was hard. I remember not being able to wait to grow up and get out on my own. Everyone told me that adulting wasn’t easy, but I didn’t believe or listen to any of them. There was work, bills, laundry, house cleaning, cooking… everything that had to be done, I was doing it completely alone. The hardest thing perhaps at the start was trying to figure out how to cook for one person. Making a pot of spaghetti meant I was eating it for a week. That wasn’t fun.

Whenever I wanted something quick and easy for dinner, but I didn’t want to make something to feed an army, I would whip up something very similar to this recipe on All Recipes. It sounds a little bit weird at first, but surprisingly, the flavor is actually really good.

Now that I’m married with children, I still like to make this once in a while when I’m home alone. It reminds of how I first started out in this world, and where I have made it since then.

Quick Tip: Three or four egg whites can be used in place of the whole eggs for a lighter flavor.
