You’ll Find Your Citrusy Bliss In This Lemon Meringue Cheesecake

I have really nice neighbors. My family is lucky to live in this neighborhood where everyone tries to get to know everyone. It’s an advantage because every time there’s an emergency, someone will immediately respond. I remember when a neighbor of mine was called for work during the weekend. She was able to bring her baby for me and my husband to watch while she ran and settle what needed to be settled.

We were able to take care of the baby without her worrying that something might happen. She would do the same for us in a heartbeat. In fact, there were times when the same thing happened to me, and my neighbors easily came to my rescue.

A few days later, the same neighbor knocked on our door and presented the most decadent cake to us. It’s a lemon meringue cheesecake, which my husband drooled over on the first bite. It was a thank you gift that I couldn’t say no to.

Oh my goodness it was the most amazing dessert ever! Lemon meringue pie was already delicious on its own, but time, cream cheese was involved. It countered the super sweet taste of the meringue and it’s just so sinful to the taste!

My husband couldn’t get enough so I had to make one for him and my boys during that weekend. If you want to make this for your family, you can find the full list of recipe on the next page!

Quick Tip: If your family doesn’t like lemon stuff, use only a bit of the lemon zest.
