Relish On The Comforting Taste That This Classic Tiramisu Brings!

Whenever I find myself having a relaxing time, I always crave for something sweet and not sweet at the same time. I know. It’s quite weird, but that’s how I really feel. You know those desserts wherein you can taste two different flavors at the same time in just one bite? Like for example, those salted caramel chocolate bars. When you take a bite, it’s sweet, but there’s a hint of saltiness that balances the sweetness.

One night, I was relaxing in the living room with my family when my husband suddenly said, “I want tiramisu. Can we make one for tomorrow?” I said yes! Because he rarely requests for anything and he deserved that. So the next day, I made tiramisu for the family.

First bite and I knew that it was the taste I have been craving for in the past few days. It’s creamy and it’s sweet, but there is a hint of bitterness in every bite that just totally balances everything out. What’s great about it was that the tastes weren’t overpowering each other!

My husband loved it! I caught him sneaking at night because we had leftovers. The twins weren’t able to eat anything because I thought it was too strong of a dessert for them. I allowed them to have ice cream instead.
