A few years ago I was taking the red-eye to Houston, Texas. It was sort of an emergency trip because my mother had taken ill and I wanted to be there with her in the hospital. She recovered from her illness just fine, thankfully. Anyway, it was almost St. Patrick’s day so the airline was serving a few themed cocktails. One of the drinks was a brown sugar Irish coffee. Jackpot! I knew I had to have one of them.
