I can totally understand why that dog ate the key lime pie bars.
Ok, so, this is actually a pretty hilarious story. Of course, when it was happening I was furious. Anyway, I found a delicious recipe for key lime pie bars on my favorite food blogger website, Making Memories With Your Kids. I got all of the ingredients together and made a magnificent batch of the bars. I set them on the table to cool. Low and behold, my dog Baxter grabbed them off the table and wolfed down the entire pan!
Apparently, Baxter though the key lime pie bars were an excellent ending to his dog food dinner. So, I made another batch and this time, allowed them to cool on top of the refrigerator.
