Savor The Flavors In This Southwest Chicken And Rice Skillet

When my husband and I first started dating over 10 years ago, it didn’t take us long to figure out that we had a lot in common.

We liked to do the same outdoor activities, took part in the same kinds of hobbies, and enjoyed the same kinds of foods. Our favorite by far has always been Southwestern. Anything with a little bit of zest or spice to it, we are going to be giving a try. There are some things that are a little too hot for me, but I don’t think my husband has ever said that.

One of our shared hobbies includes finding and making new recipes together. Now that we have been together so long, it’s often nicer to just stay home and spend time one-on-one then trying to go out into a crowded restaurant where we have to yell at each other. That’s no fun for anyone.

When looking around the web, we found this dish on Facebook and tried it out that very same week. It was really tasty. We instantly knew that this one was going to go into our pile of regular menu items.
