Tacos, spaghetti, goulash, a casserole here and there, pizza… that’s about the extent of my dinner options. I don’t have a very big aptitude when it comes to making different kinds of foods. Plus, these are the things that I know my family will eat, so I tend to stick with what I know they want. Now that all the kids are in school though, I have more time to research different recipes while the house is quiet. Recently, I found this crock pot recipe on Group Recipes for burritos and figured it would give me an opportunity to try something new.
I am someone who loves her crock pot to begin with, so anything I can put in there that is going to come out tasting good, I am willing to add it to my menu. I was hopeful that these were going to be one of those that I could use again and again. Low and behold… it was a huge hit among the entire family.
These yummy burritos are also nice to serve when we have dinner guests because the meat can stay warm in the crock pot until everyone is ready to eat. I can’t stand serving cold food because people are standing around talking later than what I thought, and this solves that problem.
