It doesn’t get much better than that! As a young child, I can recall my grandma making this soup on cold winter days when school was called off. We would stay with her while mom and dad went to work. The soup was delish!
Have yourself a bowl or two. Don’t mind if I do!
1 lb ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
2 cups diced peeled potatoes
1 cup sliced celery
1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
3 cups water
2 cans (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef broth
2 cups Hunts diced tomatoes, undrained (from 28-oz can)
1 tablespoon Heinz Worcestershire sauce
In 3-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 18 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
