Old-fashioned spritz cookies are making a comeback this holiday season.
Do you remember those decorative tins that your grandma used to purchase during the holidays? My grandma used to get each of us kids one and it was always filled with holiday cheer. In other words, it was filled with cookies. I loved receiving these tins because the cookies were always so delicious! Later on in life, I realized that these cookies were called ‘spritz” cookies. I just had to make them for myself.
I did a few searches on the internet and came across a delightful recipe for spritz cookies on the Peanut Butter and Peppers blog. She really does a lovely job on these cookies. I mean, just look at them! Aren’t they gorgeous? I really hope that mine turn out as pretty as hers.
