I am not surprised at all to see that this recipe has been a huge success over the web! Did you know you can personalize this meal according to your liking? That’s a great reminder that you can always adjust the seasonings according to your taste. If you want something a little spicier, go with red pepper flakes and a touch of hot sauce. My husband and I prefer our food to be a bit on the spicier side.
If you like Indian food, why not add some curry powder!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (or turkey, venison, etc)
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 carrots, grated
Spices to taste: salt, pepper, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, etc- I use at least a teaspoon of each
Instructions
Brown beef in a large skillet, season to taste as you go.
When beef is almost completely browned, add the onions and grated carrots (and any other sliced vegetables you like).
When onions/carrots are starting to soften, add the cabbage and spice well.
Cook about 10 more minutes, stirring often until cabbage starts to soften. It is done when there is a little bit of crunchiness left to it.
Can be topped with salsa or sour cream if desired.

Quick tip: Use lean ground beef for an even healthier option.
