I was so happy to see that they were home safe, rested up, and ready for a new day. While they were eating, I was cooking. They weren’t talking directly to me, but I did get to hear the highlights of their night. Not that I was eavesdropping or anything, but I don’t think they would say it in front of me if they didn’t want me to hear. Later that day, after everyone had cleared out, my daughter came to talk to me one-on-one about her magical night, and to thank me for the awesome pizzas!
