Butterfinger Cream Cheese Pie – It’s To Die For!

My cousin was throwing a baby shower for her sister a few years ago.

When I had my baby shower, we took the easy way out and just rented a catered hall. There was no food prep, no setup, and no cleaning. All we had to do was show up and throw out a few decorations. It was perfect for me, especially when I was eight months pregnant. My cousin, on the other hand, likes to do everything in her own DIY ways…more credit to her. We ended up doing the shower in a basement of their parent’s house. It’s a huge finished basement so it was really nice. The decorations were beautiful, and the food looked really good too.

It was your traditional baby shower foods. Meatballs, chicken, salads, dinner rolls…and a dessert table. When I laid my eyes on this peanut butter pie, I thought I had fallen in love. It was almost the look I gave my baby when he was first born I think.

I didn’t even wait to eat, I grabbed a slice of that with my meal. I wasn’t taking a chance on it being gone. It was so good. Even better than what I expected really. I pulled my cousin aside later in the day and asked her where she bought it. She said, “Oh I made that!”

What?!?! She continued to say she found the recipe on Facebook and it was actually really easy. I made sure she jotted it down for me before I left.
