There was a new movie that had just been released that the family couldn’t wait to see.
With six of us in the house, yes, I have four children, going to the theater can get pretty darn expensive. Not that we never go, it’s just that we save it for special dates like birthdays and things like that. Then, just a few of us will go. So, when there is something that we all want to watch, we wait for it to come out on video and watch it together on the big screen in our family room.
I went to the store to pick up the film, and remembered that we were going to need snacks! Just like at the movies, we needed to have treats to go with our movie. I had recalled that I had seen a simple recipe on Facebook for bacon swirls that I knew the family would go crazy over. I grabbed up the few simple ingredients and paid for them with the new movie.
When I got home, I whipped these together quickly and we all sat down to enjoy the show. I think they were gone before the previews were even over! They were a huge hit among all my kids, even the picky ones.
