There’s no better way to show someone how much you care then cooking them a hot meal.
Or, you can give them a million dollars. LOL! Seriously, though, bringing people a meal when they are struggling or ill is such a sweet gesture of stewardship. I find this casserole to be such a neat way to be a good friend to someone. In fact, the casserole itself is called Friendship Casserole” if that tells you anything. The ladies in my church bring this very casserole to people in the community when they are in need.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think this is an Amish-inspired casserole. Whatever it is it’s amazing. The flavors, the simple ingredients, the ease of making it…brilliant! I hope you enjoy this casserole as much as I do!
