As often as we can, myself along with a few of my best girlfriends get together at each other’s houses just to relax and enjoy some time together.
With our busy lives, it doesn’t happen very often. We all have school-aged children still, and anyone that has those knows how busy life can be. When we do spend time together, there is one thing that we love to do…bake! There is nothing like spending time with the ones you love doing something that you enjoy so much together. It’s always a real hoot. It’s much better for us to be active than just sitting around staring at each other.
After all, with our hectic lives, if we sit for too long, we might fall asleep! Haha! On one of these days, my friend Janet had found a recipe for black forest cupcakes on Facebook that she thought sounded delicious so she had picked up all the ingredients for us to make them.
There were no arguments coming from us! We very easily put these together and then had a cup of coffee while they sat in the fridge. We were so anxious to try one but we waited the recommended time and then pulled them out to indulge.
They were incredible! Normally we have extra food to take home to our families. That wasn’t the case here.
They were all gone before we said our goodbyes. I was sure to snag the recipe though because I knew my family would love them.
