Little Pieces Of Bacon Wrapped Heaven – My New Fave Appetizer

My kids even really liked these…but what’s not to like? They will often request that I make these for an afternoon snack on the days they know that we have bacon in the house. If I want to save it for breakfast, I have to keep it hidden away or they will leave me a nice and friendly note before leaving that they would just love some of these tasty treats. They are really easy to make and pretty affordable too, so we probably have them more than we should. If it wasn’t for the fact that bacon isn’t the healthiest menu item, we would probably have them every day!

If you find someone that doesn’t like these, you may want to rethink your friendship.

Ingredients

12 slice Oscar Mayer hickory bacon, thick cut
8 slice Wonder bread, sandwich
8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese garlic & herb flavor
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
3 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

Add 1/2 tsp. smokey Paprika to the 8 oz tub of garlic & herb flavored cream cheese and mix until combined. On 4 slices of bread, generously spread the cream cheese mixture and top with another slice of bread.
Cut off the bread crust. Cut each sandwich in 3 rows, turn and cut in half making 6 bites. Cut 12 slices of bacon in half. Wrap each bite with a slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray with non stick cooking spray. Add wrapped bacon bites to prepared pan. Sprinkle Old Bay Seasoning over each one.
Place in the center rack of a 400* F oven and cook for 25-30 minutes, until bacon is brown and cooked. For a crisper bacon, place under the broiler for approximately 1 minute (watch them or they will burn) Getcha one before they disappear! Enjoy.
