Whenever we go to one of my favorite restaurants, we always get the chili con queso dip with warm tortilla chips.
It’s so scrumptious, I could probably eat just that without even ordering a meal. The only problem is, they don’t give you a very big portion and I usually have to share with my husband or the kids. I have duplicated the dip at home, or come close to it, and now I can make great big batches and never worry about not having enough. As much as we love the dip, I knew these bites were going to be good.
I saw the recipe on Recipe Lion and my jaw hit the floor I think. I couldn’t believe that they had turned my favorite flavor into something that could easily be baked up and popped into my mouth in no time at all. I didn’t even wait for company to make these, I did it the same weekend.
I wish I would have known how tasty they were going to be, I would have bought more ingredients! We live pretty far from the nearest grocery store, so we had to settle for what we had that day. I never start making this unless I know I’m going to be able to make it a double batch now.
