Summer means one thing for me, the cooking that I have to do is cut at least in half, if not more.
My husband got a new grill for his first Father’s Day nearly 15 years ago, and he hasn’t stopped loving it since. After he figured out the technique, and how good the food was that came off of it, there was no turning back. Last year, we finally replaced that old charcoal grill with a brand new gas one. That’s what he wanted, so that’s what he got. We don’t want to miss out on any of our summer meals.
The first meal that he made on there was a lot like this recipe from for grilled shrimp and sausage with peppers and onions. I don’t know where he came up with the idea, but I am glad he did. The stuff was amazing.
Now that grilling season is on again, I can’t wait for him to make it again. I don’t want to rush things because there are so many good meals that comes off there, but this is for sure on the top of my list.
