Okay, if you are a fan of caramel, you have got to check this one out. Caramel addicts are going to love the flavor, richness, and moistness of this cake. I do not know about you, but most of the times I have tried a caramel cake (or anything else caramel flavored for that matter), it has always been relatively dry. Not moist at all, so it becomes a crumble filled with caramel in your mouth. A little annoying? I would dare say it is.
Well, the other day, my mother in law was coming over for dinner, and I wanted to make her a special meal. She does not live here, actually, she lives states away, so we do not get to see her often. I know what her favorite types of meals are, so I decided to make her a lasagna (I know, sounds cliche for dinner parties, but she loves it!), but could not figure out what to make for dessert. That is when I remembered… she LOVES caramel. I threw together this caramel cake and she was in awe. The best caramel cake we have either tried! It was so good, we made another one the day before she left so she can take with her.
