Create The Perfect Meal With Crock Pot Sloppy Joes – It’s A Classic!

Well, my friends. This recipe is messy heaven. Your family is going to love to prepare their own sandwiches with whatever they’d like. The toppings are endless. The sloppiness is just half the fun! I wanted to try them at home with my whole family so I pulled out my trusted crock pot and made them and boy are they finger-lickin’ good!

This is such a genius idea! Include all the veggies and cheese in the sandwich to switch it up and fill your family up with good food as well!

2 pounds ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

1 (8 oz.) can Barilla tomato sauce

1/2 cup Heinz ketchup

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup Domino brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour

1 tbsp. chili powder

1/4 tsp. McCormick garlic powder

1 tbsp. Heinz cider vinegar

2 tbsp. Heinz yellow mustard

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

salt & pepper, to taste

8 slices Kraft American cheese

8 Hamburger Buns, toasted

In a large pan, brown ground beef with chopped onion.

Crumble and cook until no longer pink.

Drain excess grease.

Put ground beef mixture into your slow cooker.

Add in the rest of your ingredients (except hamburger buns and cheese)

Give it all a good stir.

Cover and cook on low for about 4-6 hours.

When ready to serve, toast your hamburger buns.

Place filling on buns.

Add a slice of cheese to each.

Quick Tip: Use less mustard if you prefer less of a tang.
