Not only are these really tasty, they are also super simple to make. They aren’t as easy as opening up a can of vegetables and dumping them in a pan… but they are worth the little bit of extra effort. Whenever we are having company over for dinner, this is usually the veggie that I opt to make. It offers an option that most people like, but just fancied up enough to make it look like I spent hours preparing something really special. There are never any leftovers so you don’t have to worry about that.
There are a lot of combos out there that I never thought would go together… you never know until you try though!
Ingredients
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 large onion (sliced)2
2 tsp Domino sugar
1 lb green beans ( trimmed and cooked)
1/4 c sweet orange marmalade
1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
1 Tbsp La Choy soy sauce
Instructions
Place oil in sauté pan.When oil is hot add onions and sugar cook on low stirring often for about 25-30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Add green beans to onions.Stir in marmalade, ginger and soy sauce. Cook until marmalade melts and mixture is heated through.
