Cheesy Beef And Noodle Casserole – A Busy Mom’s Dream Dinner

You guys, this recipe is so super easy to make. It’s often my go-to recipe when I’m pressed for time and haven’t gotten anything going for dinner yet. You know how it is when you’ve got kids, animals, a husband, and a house to maintain. Plus, my children love hamburger, noodles, and cheese so this is the perfect recipe for them. It also makes yummy leftovers for lunch on the next day. We love it!

My children enjoy eating this casserole with a scoop of sour cream on the top. It’s really yummy and gives the casserole a cool and zesty flavor. How will you be eating yours?

Ingredients

3 cups cooked egg noodles

1 pound ground beef

1 (15-ounce) can Heinz tomato sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt, pepper, and McCormick Italian seasonings (to taste)

1 (4-ounce) package Philadelphia cream cheese, softened

1 cup Dasiy sour cream

3 green onions, chopped

1 cup grated Kraft Cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Add cooked noodles in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.

Brown ground beef and garlic. Drain the fat, discard. Add tomato sauce to the meat, heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Pour the meat-tomato mixture over the noodles in the casserole dish.

Mix together the cream cheese with the sour cream in a bowl, and mix until smooth. Stir in green onions. Spread over meat mixture. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top of the cream cheese mixture.
