Uncle Ben’s Easy Grilled Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Uncle Ben loves pork chops. He loves them the most when they’re marinated in anything tangy. Usually, he uses vinegar, garlic, and soy sauce, but recently, he turns to lemons and limes. He says they preserve the taste of the meat more and they taste more delicious on the meat. Every time we have this grill party, he is in charge of grilling all the meat. He makes sure he brings a lot of his marinated meat because it has become everyone’s favorites. The subtle hint of the citrus is a perfect blend with the meat. And they really come out more after the meat is grilled.

There are no complaints with the kids even! They all love the citrusy flavor of the chops and at the same time the juiciness of it. Imagine how big of a feat it is to not hear any complaints from those “picky eater kiddos”. The pork chops are usually served with rice and a side dish of buttered corn and peas with gravy.

I love them with mashed potatoes and gravy though because Aunt Marge’s creamy gravy is always a perfect match to any grilled meat. Check out this recipe over in the next page. It will show you a different way of preparing grilled lemon pepper chops which taste really savory that you would want another piece after devouring the first one!
