What seems like a millions years ago, people would make homemade cakes, muffins, and all kinds of baked goods. They looked like they came out of a person’s kitchen and they were delicious! Now a days, people seem to think they can’t serve anything unless it looks ready for a food photography session! Everything is so primed and staged to make the food look perfect. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it does bring a little pressure to us “ordinary people”…
This recipe, however, really brings out the delicious in traditional desserts. You can tell by looking at it that it’s filled with all kinds of delicious goodies, like bananas, coconuts, and other flavorful ingredients! I love desserts like this, because they take me back to my childhood and remind me of all the good times.
