Take on the Takeout With This Simple Dinner!

You will not believe how easy it is to put this dish together! I know I said five minutes of prep time but you could probably get it ready and cooking in three! I love these kinds of recipes for a busy day, when you just know you don’t have any extra time to spend in the kitchen.

This recipe has been a great hit over at KitchMe. Here’s what lovely readers have said about it:

Ate This over sautéed zuchini. Absolutely delicious. Even My husband ate it. This is a new staple in our house.

I made this tonight for dinner and it was delicious! Definitely will be making this again!

Made this last weekend and we loved it. So EASY. Had it for lunch almost every day this week. I did not add the chili sauce and I don’t think I cooked for 4 hours. I turned my crock pot off after 3 1/2 hours. I always tend to dry out chicken in the crock pot, so I kept close watch of this one. I did cook it in soy sauce/honey the entire time. So much flavor! I’d like to try it with beef and pork, too!

Ingredients

2 12 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 2 inch pieces

12 cup soy sauce

12 cup honey

3 whole garlic cloves

1 hot chili sauce, optional

Instructions:

Add all the ingredients into a crock pot. Set it to Low and cover.

Stir after 2 hours and then cook an additional 2 hours.

Remove garlic cloves.

Quick Tip: If you want a crispy brown top, broil the chicken in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
