A Delicious Addition to Any Dinner

This is what fans over at Chef in Training have said about this dish:

Love this recipe! I cooked it today and it came out great. I adjusted the amounts because I used 3 cans instead of two for the corn. I also added some cheese on top when baking it. I wish I could post a picture but cant. But the kids love it so its a keeper.

If you’ve been looking for a simple new side dish, this is it!

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 (15 oz.) can whole corn, drained
  • 2 eggs, well-beaten

Dissolve flour in ¼ cup milk.

Boil ¾ cup milk with butter and sugar.

Pour flour mixture into the milk & butter mixture after boil is reached, to make a thin white sauce.

Remove from heat and stir in drained corn and salt. Mix in eggs.

Pour into a 1 to 1½ quart loaf pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes until done.
