This is the kind of feedback our friends over at Allrecipes received for this dish:
This recipe is AWESOME with a few modifications. I made it for my mom, husband, 3 year-old and 8 month old and it was a HUGE hit with all of us! My husband liked it better than his grandma’s homemade chicken and dumplings and the gourmet chef who lives next door tasted it and thought it was an old family recipe. 🙂 He loved it!
You can try adding as little or as much spices as you want to. Personally, I love curry spice mix with chicken, so I always add a little bit of that!
Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces
Instructions:
Add all the ingredients into a slow cooker and fill with enough water to cover.
Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on high. Half an hour before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.
Quick Tip: Use a liner in your slow cooker for easy clean up!
Thanks to Allrecipes for this family friendly and super easy slow cooker meal!
