20 Years Ago, My Mom Hosted A Dessert Fundraiser-And It Was Amazing

6 best desserts coconut chocolate chunk blondies

Even if your kids don’t care for coconut they’ll still scarf down these blondies.

About 20 years ago, our church had a fundraiser. This fundraiser was to raise money for the children of the community that didn’t have much. My mother thought that making desserts the basis of the fundraiser would really rake in the cash as everyone loves to eat sweet treats. Mom was right, as usual. She made 10 dozen batches of her famous coconut chocolate chunk blondies and they sold like hot cakes.

I don’t think there was one batch of coconut chocolate chunk blondies left after that fundraiser. My church still hosts this same charity all thanks to my dear old mom. I hope you enjoy this coconut chocolate chunk blondie recipe that I found over on the Bless Us O Lord food blog. It’s just like my moms!
