Just Wait Until You Get A Bite Of These Sausage Poppers

My kids were getting ready to head off to a week of summer camp. This is the kind of camp where parents send their kids just to get rid of them either. It’s a camp that my kids found out about all on their own, and they love going. Even though they get on my last nerve during their summer vacation, I always am sad to see them go, and miss them by about the second day. It’s about a three hours bus ride for them to get to their campground, and I knew that they were going to need snacks along the way.

The bus was leaving at around 5am, so I didn’t want to load them up with sugary or sweet treats. They needed breakfast foods. I thought about toaster pastries, but that wasn’t a homemade treat, and I knew it was going to be a while before they had something like that.

I took a recipe for sausage biscuit bites that I found on Normal Cooking and whipped together a batch of those instead. They called me when they arrived and thanked me for the breakfast. They said they ate all of them! Well, I guess I’ll be making those again!
