Just Wait Until You Get A Bite Of These Sausage Poppers

The kids were so excited about some new friends that they made at camp, they asked if we could have them for a sleepover. I told them to let things settle back down for a week or two and then we would figure something out. Of course, I let them have their new friends over. They actually requested that I make these for them for breakfast for everyone. Come to find out, they ate them all the first time because they were sharing with their new pals and they wanted them too!

Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Normal Cooking:

“What a hit! Super easy, super quick and super delicious!”

Everyone loves these… even the person that gets to make them. I mean, check out how easy this is!

Ingredients

1 (10 count) can flaky biscuits (Grands Jr)

1/2 lb Johnsonville sausage

1 cup Kraft shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Remove biscuits from cans and separate each biscuit into two layers, making 20 total biscuit layers. Press one layer of biscuit into cup of lightly greased cupcake pan. Repeat with remaining layers.

Mix uncooked sausage and cheese gently until well blended. Shape into 20 balls of equal size.

Place sausage-cheese ball in each biscuit cup.  (you can use your thumb to indent the dough before putting in the sausage ball)

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are browned and sausage balls are bubbly.
