The Kids Are Going To Love These This Weekend

It was my kids last day at school. I don’t know who was more excited, them or me. No more waking up before the sun rise to get breakfast made and lunchboxes together. There would be a break from arguing with who is hogging the bathroom or fighting to get a super tired kid out of bed. Perhaps the biggest bonus… no more homework! I don’t know what it is with homework these days but it seems like by the time my kids were in about third grade, the homework outweighed the amount of time they spend it school.

Anyways, as a special treat to my crew, I wanted to make them a super extra tasty after school snack. It wasn’t often that I made something for after school, just because we were always so busy. After seeing these pepperoni and mozzarella cheese croissants on Small Town Woman, I was making time.

All the kids burst through the door full or energy tossing their book bags like loads of garbage. They were so happy to be done for the year too. Then, they were even more excited to see the yummy treat I had prepared. It was the perfect way to wrap up the school year, and a great new addition to my recipe box.
