My husband works in construction, and he gets things done. Even at his age, which I won’t mention, I think he’s the hardest working guy on the crew. I may be a little biased, but I’m certain that he’s way up there. So, when he comes home after a long day, not only is he tired, but he’s also starving. He’s that guy that takes two sandwiches in his lunch every day because one isn’t enough. It’s my job to make sure he has a nice hearty meal so he can wake up and do it all over again the next day.
These salisbury steak burgers from Spend With Pennies fit that bill. Not only are they nice and filling, they are also really tasty. It’s something different than the traditional burgers that we are used to, but still one of the hubby’s favorite meals.
When he sees that I’ve made these, he gets a look of relaxation and satisfaction on his face as soon as he sits down to the table, and that’s what I like to see. With two teenage boys in the house, these are a family favorite for sure.
