The Crockpot Version Of This Pizza Is Better Than Any Takeout

Pizza, pizza, pizza- it sounds like a chant in my head even though I am writing it instead of saying it. But don’t you just find yourself murmuring the same words sometimes? It’s pizza- everyone loves pizza. Whoever says that they don’t- that’s probably not true at all unless there is some kind of allergy involved. Pizza is comfort food- we love comfort food. The fact that we can make it at home is already an advantage. We can have one sizzling pizza in the palm of our hands in no time at all.

In my family, we have homemade pizza at least once a month. I mean come on, there are so many recipes out there than I can cook for my family. We just need to enjoy pizza at least once a month so it’s on the menu.

Speaking of pizza, I am glad that my husband and my kids have the same preferences when it comes to pizza. We want ours thick and chewy. We’re not fans of those crunchy thin crust ones.

This crockpot pizza recipe from Food allows us to achieve that type of pizza without so much of a hassle. It’s cooked in crockpot therefore it’s easier than most pizza recipes. You also have control over the flavors, which is one of the best things.

I am sharing with you a copy of this recipe on the next page for your reference. Enjoy.

Quick Tip: Line the Crockpot with aluminum foil before you start. Leave some foil up the sides to lift out. This should make cleanup a breeze.
