Annie’s Hot Mediterranean Soup With Turkey Meatballs

I consider soup as the perfect dinner whenever I don’t want something as heavy as a steak or pasta. But I also love my soup complete and tasty. I don’t settle for just soup. I want a variety of ingredients in there that will satisfy my sometimes demanding taste buds and stomach. I love meat in my soup because meat is my life and I love anything with meat on it! I also love a few vegetables in there if I can help it because I love vegetables too. Plus, that’s the only way I can call a soup complete. It has to have protein, vegetables, and carbs on it.

Annie thought me a soup recipe that has all the things I want. It’s simple, yes, but it’s also very delicious and savory. The greatest thing about this is that it’s cooked in slow cooker, which meant I would still be able to do a lot of things and then come home to something warm and delicious for dinner. I pair this off with a nice slice of crusty bread or dinner roll, whichever is available at home. I also make myself a glass of ice cold lemonade. All of these things together and I find myself relaxing at home even after a stressful day.
