Berrylicious Summery Dessert Alert! Slow Cooked to Perfection This Recipe is as Simple as Pie – But it’s Not Pie

There is nothing better than berries in the summertime. They are ripe, delicious, sweet and bursting with juices. This recipe uses a mix of berries to make a cobbler so tart and tantalizing combined with that ooey gooey topping that everyone loves on cobbler. My kids call this upside-down pie, and they always know when I’m making it because we go berry picking for an added family treat.

What makes this better than your average cobbler is that it cooks in the crock. I love these fix it and forget it meals for busy days. With only four ingredients you’ll spend barely any time at all making this awesome dessert that’s the perfect finish after grilling out. Don’t forget the vanilla ice cream on top!

Quick Tip: Dish out the cobbler about 10 minutes or so before serving, that way the ice cream doesn’t become a puddle.
