Where’s The Beef In This Lasagna? You Don’t Need It!

My brother and his new wife were coming back home to our town for a short weekend visit. After the got married, they quickly moved to the big city to get as far ahead in their careers as they could before they started getting the itch to have children. Then, they wanted to come back to our little village, because it’s a great place to raise babies. I didn’t blame them one bit. In fact, I was kind of envious of their idea. I never thought of it, and never moved away from home. I truly do love it here though.

I decided that I would make a lasagna for the night the intended on staying with us so I went and picked up all the ingredients. When I told my brother, he said, “That’s great, but Janelle doesn’t eat red meat.” Uh-oh. Now what was I going to do.

I started to brainstorm and that’s when I remembered the ham I had in the fridge. Could you make a lasagna with ham instead of beef? I wasn’t too sure, but it was worth giving it a shot.
