Must Have Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

When I packed up the kids and went to my brother’s house recently, I was very shocked to see that he didn’t have a plate of cookies sitting out on the counter. He never had any kids of his own, so whenever I brought mine over for a visit, he would love to spoil them with gifts and snacks. It was like a free-for-all there. The kids loved it, and we didn’t get to go often, so I usually just let it be. I think my kids were just as shocked to see that they didn’t have their regular desserts ready to go.

Then, my oldest boy finally got up the courage to ask Uncle Mike where his goodies were. It was then that my brother told them that he wanted their help making their snacks. I couldn’t believe my brother could cook to start off, or that he had enough patience to do it with the kids. It was so unlike him.

He pulled out this recipe that he had seen on The Girl Who Ate Everything and I nodded in approval. They got to work and were diving into these tasty little crescents covered with cinnamon and sugar in a mater of minutes. I got to try one, and they were amazing!
